Swashtara has, over the years, transformed from an underground refuge for the younger LGBTQIA+ community during turbulent times into a vibrant creative utopia, now graced by some of the most notable faces on our cultural scene.
What's Swashtara?
Regardless of gender identity, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, age, body type, disability, or background — you belong here. We don't just tolerate diversity. We're built on it.

In essence, we are that gay party in Zagreb you don’t ever want to miss.
More elaborately, Swashtara is a Zagreb LGBTQ+ brand that celebrates the richness and beauty of diversity, bringing together individuals from all walks of life. With its tagline "Beauty of Diversity," Swashtara aims to create a safe and joyous space where everyone can express their true selves and enjoy judgement-free.
Swashtara fosters a spirit of unity and acceptance, showcasing the unique talents and stories within the LGBTQ+ community.
It's more of a freedom runway than anything else. We love our people, we are our people - and there's no one like us. What Swashtara community fosters, no outside element can break.
Built Different
We didn't build a club. We built a community. Swashtara is your safe space, your party place, your favorite event to show up to. We're your friend, we're your people, we're you as much as you are us.

How We Work
Swashtara gives queer clubbing Zagreb a good name. We're focused on bringing the community together and creating a fun, genuinely safe space where everyone can show up as their true selves. It sounds like a cliché — but in our case, it really isn't. Just ask around.
Our Ethos
Swashtara started as an event organization. Today, we're growing into something bigger — an umbrella for inclusive, community-driven projects that go beyond the dancefloor. We keep building, we keep expanding, and we're not done yet. Just you wait.
