In the words of Ivan Ilić, the Web Editor-in-Chief of ELLE Croatia, Swashtara has, over the years, transformed from an underground refuge for the younger LGBTQIA+ community during turbulent times into a vibrant creative utopia, now graced by some of the most notable faces on our cultural scene. In essence, we are that gay party in Zagreb you don’t ever want to miss. 

More elaborately, Swashtara is a Zagreb LGBTQ+ brand that celebrates the richness and beauty of diversity, bringing together individuals from all walks of life. With its tagline "Beauty of Diversity," Swashtara aims to create a safe and joyous space where everyone can express their true selves and enjoy judgement-free. 

Swashtara fosters a spirit of unity and acceptance, showcasing the unique talents and stories within the LGBTQ+ community. 

It's more of a freedom runway than anything else. We love our people, we are our people - and there's no one like us. What Swashtara community fosters, no outside element can break. 

We're your safe space, your party place, your favorite event to show up to. We're your friend, your sisters and brothers, we're you as much as you are us. Swashtara is the place for all of us.

Swashtara started out as an event organization. Today, we strive to expand and become an umbrella term for so much more. We actively come up with new inclusive projects for our community.

If you are a queer person with a cool idea you think would be perfect for SW - hit us up. We're kinda busy, so we may not respond immediately (sorry!) - but we will eventually. With your help, we can elevate Zagreb pride parties to an even higher standard.

We're bringing the most vibrant slice of Zagreb LGBTQ+ events nightlife, serving up the best beats and performances from a lineup of sickening queer and straight DJs, paired with show-stopping Zagreb drag performances. It's not just a party; it's a safe space where you can slay, dance, and live your truth without a single care.

If you are looking for a gay club Zagreb - we aren’t it. Why? Simply because we are not a club. However, we are the epicenter queer events in Zagreb!

An organization held in different locations, Swashtara crew likes to keep you guessing —we’re always popping up somewhere fresh in Zagreb! With every event, we drop the location like it's hot, letting you know exactly where the next fierce party is going down. No two nights are the same, and that’s just how we like it.
